Dry Needling

An effective treatment technique for pain, muscle spasm, headaches and trigger point release.

Dry Needling is the insertion of sterile needles into various trigger points to assist in improving circulation, reducing pain and restoring function of the soft tissue.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

The Pelvic floor is a bundle of hammock like muscles that lie at the base of your pelvis. Their function is to support the internal pelvic organs and assist in normal bladder, bowel and sexual functioning. It plays a very important role in core stability and works together with the deep core stabilisers, lower back stabilisers and the diaphragm. So, when you experience symptoms relating to the pelvic floor you may experience the following:

Pre- and Postnatal Physiotherapy

Pregnancy is the most incredible and life changing experience, but it can take a toll on your body as it starts to change and transform to accommodate for your growing baby.

Aesthetic Rehabilitation

The Physiotherapists at Anti-Aging Art provide aesthetic rehabilitation to patients after certain procedures.

1. Deep Oscillation for Cooltech fat freezing
A 15 minute deep oscillation is offered after the cooltech fat freezing procedure in order to help the tissue to adjust to room temperature and minimise bruising pain and discomfort.

2. Ultrasound and myofascial release post Lipolytic Injections
Gentle soft tissue release and ultrasound is also offered to patients who are suffering with swelling and bruising post lipolytic injections. This helps to improve lymph drainage and stimulate faster healing.

3. Neuromuscular Stimpod Botulinum toxin
It is not often but it does happen that patients are unhappy with the effect of botulinum toxin injections in certain areas of the face.
The neuromuscular stimpod can be applied to the nerves and muscles of the face in a 30 minute treatment to help the toxin wear off as fast as possible. Multiple sessions may be required.
